The overall feeling I have working for Anamore is happiness and pride.

I’ve been with Anamore for eight years and started my career as a general labourer on a project in central London. The job was labour intensive at the beginning but became more technical and complicated as it progressed. The project team taught me the basics and really mentored me so I could build up my knowledge and skill set. After meeting with James and Anthony It became apparent that they were willing to promote if you showed drive and intuition.

Since then, I have been involved in many successful projects all over the UK and Ireland and with each project accepting more and more responsibility. I am now undertaking the role of junior contracts manager which has been very rewarding. It’s been great to have the support of the team behind me if I needed a hand and the technical knowledge and company practices have made my career progression a relatively easy one.

The nature of building remediation is not without its challenges. A project in Poole threw an array of complications our way and took every member of the business to overcome efficiently and effectively. Both James and Anthony were completing weekly visits to site to check progress and offer assistance and they took time to speak and listen to every person involved to offer reassurance. Recognising the difficulties on site they created a better work environment with advice, technical expertise and additional resources. This project reaffirmed my decision to commit my career with this company and achieve the goals and standards set by the directors.

My experience with Anamore has been thoroughly enjoyable and beneficial and I would encourage anyone who wants to advance their career in construction to join the team.
