Anamore Appoints New Finance Director as Building Remediation Specialist Enters Next Phase of Growth
Anamore has appointed Maurice McHugh as its new Finance Director as the building remediation specialist enters its next phase of growth and continues to build its presence across the UK, Ireland and international markets.
Maurice joined Anamore on 21 September 2026, bringing financial leadership and strategic insight to support the company’s continued growth, operational development and ambitious plans for the future.
The appointment comes at an important stage for Anamore, which has recently secured multiple new remediation projects across the UK, further strengthening its growing project portfolio. Details of these projects will be announced in due course.
While the UK and Ireland remain important markets for the business, Anamore’s ambitions extend beyond its established territories. The company is continuing to explore opportunities internationally, with the aim of taking its specialist remediation expertise into new markets around the world.
The long-term ambition is to establish Anamore as a globally recognised leader in building remediation, building on the expertise, experience and relationships developed since the company was established.
Commenting on Maurice’s appointment and the company’s future direction, James McCallan, Director at Anamore, said:
“We’ve built a strong business with an established presence across the UK and Ireland, and we’re now focused on taking Anamore to the next level. We’re securing major opportunities, growing our team and continuing to build on the expertise and relationships that have brought us to where we are today. But our ambition extends beyond our established markets.
We want Anamore to become a globally recognised name in building remediation. We have the expertise, experience and foundations in place to take what we’ve built into new markets and establish Anamore on a much wider international stage.”
Maurice brings financial leadership to Anamore at a time of continued business development and expansion.
Commenting on his appointment, Maurice McHugh, Finance Director at Anamore, said,
“I am delighted to come on board with Anamore and am highly impressed with the enthusiasm, professionalism and commitment of the team here to help Anamore continue to develop and grow its footprint in the remediation sector, both at home and internationally.”
The appointment further strengthens Anamore’s leadership structure as the company continues to grow, invest in its people and develop the operational and financial capabilities required to support its next phase of expansion.
