ESTIMATOR (FULL-TIME)
Due to a strong tender pipeline and in line with our business growth strategy, we are now seeking to recruit an Estimator to join our dynamic team.
Job description:
Working closely with the Head of Estimating to develop detailed cost estimates and quality bid submissions for façade remediation projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carry out detailed take offs from architectural drawings.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and labour.
- Carry out detailed commercial analysis of all quotations and review for compliance.
- Review all tender documentation to ensure compliance with all performance, employer and statutory requirements.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for facade remediation projects.
- Assist with developing quality bid submissions for all tenders.
- Liaise with other company departments at various stages of the tender process.
- Mentor Anamore Academy HLA students.
- Occasional travel around the UK and ROI will be required for site visits and to attend meetings.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in an Estimating or Quantity Surveying Role.
- A degree in a construction-related field (e.g. Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management).
- Proficiency in Bluebeam is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Façade experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
